Thrifty Tuesdays

Gone thrifting this afternoon. I loaded up a cart full and tried them all on. How great is retail therapy. I came out with some real winners. Two of my faves are below.

Front Tied Sweater, $2 (regular $4)

The unsewn hem of the dress has beautiful lace peeking out from beneath. This was my winning purchase for $2.25 (regular $4.50).

Outfit Details:
Sweater: Thrifted, 3/1
Skirt: Thrifted, 3/1
Belt: Thrifted, Feb
Shoes: Target Clearance, already had 2007

Total cost of outfit including belt: $9.50

Also scored...
Houndstooth Skirt $2.50 and Blue Turtleneck Sweater $2

And basic black pants $2 and a navy blue Grey's Anatomy brand scrub top, $1.75! It was a great day to go thrifting.

  4. Thanks girls for stopping by. I love comments!

@Angie- isn't it the best? I wish I really appreciated thrift stores when I was younger. I could've saved mom and dad a fortune on school clothes every year. I'm amazed at how many nice "new with tag" name brand and designer items I find.

@Lyddie- Love your blog! It means a lot that you stopped by MY little blog. Hope you find them!

@Cori- I totally scored more goodies again, today. PV Hospice (near Taco Shell) does 1/2 off clothes/purses every **TUES from 3?-5pm*** and the **FIRST FRI/SAT of every month** BOTH PV Hospice and the PV Firemans Auxillary (just across the street) holds a 1/2 off everything sale. I bet you and the girls would love it. The fire auxillary has more kids clothes and such, but they are both worth a trip.
